Q. Where will this year’s conference be held?
The 2026 Annual NRJE Conference will be held in Maryland, at the Rosenbloom Hillel Center for Jewish Life: 7612 Mowatt Lane, College Park, MD 20740.
Q. Where do I park?
Maryland Hillel sits on the southern side of the University of Maryland campus near Fraternity Row and Mowatt Lane. The Hillel has very limited parking.

Lot 1 is free on Sunday all day. All green lots are free year-round after 4pm.
• Mowatt Lane Parking Garage
This is likely your easiest option. It is essentially adjacent to Hillel and only a short walk. Open 24 hours.
• Union Lane Garage
Another close campus garage, a little farther north but still walkable.
• Terrapin Trail Garage
Good overflow option if Mowatt fills up.
• Downtown Parking Garage
Useful if people are staying at nearby hotels or exploring downtown College Park.
For conference guests staying at The Hotel at The University of Maryland, Hillel is roughly a 10 to 15 minute walk or a very short rideshare trip away.
Q. What is this year’s conference schedule?
The 40th Annual NRJE Conference will take place from May 31, 2026 – June 2, 2026. This is a tentative schedule based on last year’s schedule and is subject to change. Click here to see the schedule.
Q. How can I register?
Complete the registration form: https://nrje.org/conference-registration/. The Registration deadline is May 23, 2026.
Q. Do I have to be an NRJE member to attend the conference?
Yes, all registrants for the full conference who are not graduate students, local educators, or members of the ARJE/JEA must be members in good standing of the NRJE. Q. Can I attend only one or two days?
Yes, you can register for single days on the registration form: https://nrje.org/conference-registration/
Q. Are all meals kosher and included?
Yes, the facility is kosher and can accommodate dietary needs or allergies.
The conference includes the following meals (if registered for all 3 days):
Sunday, May 31: Dinner
Monday, June 1: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
Tuesday, June 2: Breakfast and optional PAID Lunch (This meal is not included in the registration fee; an additional $25 charge applies).

Q. Which hotel is closest to the venue, if walking?
You can find the conference venue on Google Maps (https://maps.app.goo.gl/9133FqrAa6fgEKjt8). Click on Directions and enter each hotel address to view direct routes to the venue from your hotel of choice. The Marriott is half a mile away, and the Hotel is almost a mile from the venue.
Q. Are there scholarship opportunities?
There are no scholarship opportunities available. We used our funding to keep the overall registration fees lower for everyone.
Q. Can I attend or present virtually?
As this is a networking conference, we do not offer a virtual or hybrid option.
